The Multistory Parking Lot Management System is a comprehensive software solution designed to simplify and enhance the management of a multi-level parking facility. The system aims to streamline parking space allocation, improve fee collection, and provide a user-friendly experience for both administrators and customers.
Project Objectives
- Efficient Space Allocation: Enable efficient allocation of parking spaces based on vehicle type and availability, reducing congestion and optimizing space utilization.
- Accurate Fee Calculation: Automate the fee calculation process, ensuring accurate charges for each parked vehicle based on factors like vehicle type and duration.
- User-Friendly Reservation: Provide users with the ability to reserve parking spaces in advance, promoting convenience and time-saving.
- Transaction Monitoring: Enable real-time monitoring and reporting of parking transactions, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
Design Process
Screen 1: Multistory Parking System Initialization
The project started with the creation of the system's main dashboard. Key design elements included:
- Input fields for the number of floors and parking spaces per floor.
- A "Initialize System" button to set up the parking lot.
- A feedback area to display success and error messages.
- Navigation options for moving to other modules.
Screen 2: Parking Lot Allotment Module
For the Parking Lot Allotment Module, the focus was on user interaction and efficiency:
- Dropdowns for floor selection and vehicle type.
- An input field for vehicle entry details.
- A checkbox to mark spaces as vacant.
